OUR PROGRAMS

How We Drive Impact

Over the years Impact has offered a range of programs to assist women escaping domestic
violence from childcare in courts to Purses with Purpose and the Give them a Meal program. One
constant since the very beginning are the Impact Bags of Love.

Bags of Love

What Are Bags of Love?

What Are Bags of Love?

Our Bags of Love are designed to provide comfort, support, and essential items to women who are on their journey towards healing and recovery after experiencing domestic violence. Each bag is carefully curated to offer not just tangible items but also a message of hope and solidarity. These bags, filled with toiletries, essentials, and comforting items, make a world of difference to the women who receive them.

How You Can Contribute to Bags of Love

Donations

Just $225 can provide a Bag of Love and change someone’s life.  Your financial support is crucial in ensuring that we can continue to create and distribute Bags of Love to those who need them most. Your contribution helps us purchase the necessary items and fund the program.

In-Kind Gifts

If you’d like to contribute specific items for the Bags of Love, we welcome donations of new toiletries, comforting items, and essentials. Please see our list of accepted items below.

ImpactFUL

The Impactful program was designed to empower and uplift women who had experienced trauma and community dislocation through domestic violence. Through a holistic approach to health and well-being under the guidance of Impact for Women, Impactful sought to create positive outcomes for participants by allowing them to exercise in a safe and comfortable environment. The program was run successfully just prior to the COVID pandemic, which forced it to close.

What is
ImpactFUL

Impactful was designed to provide women with physical wellbeing and confidence building activities they needed to rebuild their lives after experiencing domestic violence. It enhanced their health, well-being, and overall quality of life through safe fitness classes at a participating gym. Our focus is on fitness, education, and unwavering support, all with the goal of empowering our participants.

The Impactful program also offered childcare to enable the women to take the gym class without distraction and give them a break, and a nutritious lunch.
