At Impact for Women, we believe that giving money isn’t the only way to help create change.
VOLUNTEER
Impact offers a range of volunteering activities to allow you to make a difference in someone’s life. Every year more than 2,000 people of all ages and from all walks of life volunteer at Impact, wrapping and packing our Bags of Love, helping out on our Board and committees, delivering to refuges, at working bees and through our events.
Volunteering not only benefit’s women and children who have escaped domestic violence, but they will also bring you a sense of accomplishment and a chance to be a part of something truly meaningful.

Wrap and Pack
Volunteer for one of Impact’s Wrap and Pack days where we create the Bags of Love
Drive and Deliver
Volunteer to deliver our Bags of Love to shelter locations around Victoria. Delivery takes place twice a year at Mother’s Day and Christmas.
Wordplace Volunteering
Every year Impact hosts hundreds of corporate volunteers giving some of their work time towards supporting women and children escaping domestic violence by wrapping & packing Bags of Love with Impact.
This type of program is proven to increase employee engagement and team building, build better ties to the community and have a positive impact on all who participate.

Schools
Impact is pleased to host many school groups each year that are engaging with the community and giving back via volunteering activities.
Our Wrap & Pack days are a perfect way for high school students to not only help those in need and learn about volunteering but also to inspire discussions about a community led culture of zero tolerance for domestic violence, helping young adults to identify and end harmful stereotypes and attitudes which can lead to this issue.
